Learn To Ring!
Thousands of people across the country are proud to call themselves Bell Ringers. Once gained, bell ringing is a skill for life you’ll never forget and can open up a lifetime of experiences and enjoyment. Bell ringing appeals to both young and old. Our youngest ringer is just 11 years old while our oldest is well into his eighties! Here are some qualities that you don’t need to have to be a bell ringer…
- You DON’T need to be strong. Bell ringing is more about technique than brute strength.
- You DON’T need to be musical. No knowledge of music or scales is required to be a bell ringer.
- You DON’T need to be a church member. Many bell ringers have no religious affiliation but do make the effort to ring for church services.
Why not come up the tower to see us in action? We practise every Thursday evening from 7:30pm to 9:00pm, except for the first Thursday in the month when we practise at the church in Knighton. You’ll always be welcome!
